David M. Kidd is one of the most controversial personalities to ever roam the Southwest plains. His music and his beliefs start as ripples that always wind up as waves of interest, curiosity and excitement. Whether he is drinking beer with camels to raise money for crippled children or playing his guitar on a public rooftop in scorching heat and refusing to come down until electric fans are donated to the Salvation Army for distribution to the needy.
     When they said it couldn't be done without large amounts of money, Kidd founded the SouthWest SongWriters Association, also known as SWSWA. SWSWA is a grassroots operation that provides free music/songwriting workshops and affordable (sometimes free of charge) recording studios to the music community. His love for people, pretty girls, good stories and adventure makes him a colorful character to watch, listen to and maybe even beware of. (He may steal your heart!).
