WELCOME
to the music showcase of the SWSWA
| The talented people who comprise the membership of the
association will be found here. The current list is only a few of the voices of the SWSWA, past and
present. More will be added in the near future. No special player or plug-ins
are required to view the files. Any browser that supports Java will work, so
make a selection, sit back and enjoy the show! |

How to use Clipstream |
|
Clicking
on the player window will initiate automatic bandwidth detection and
start playback, as will clicking the play button. Playback can be
paused with the pause button; clicking the speaker icon near the
lower right corner will mute the audio.
Clicking on the lower right
corner of the player window where it indicates "Auto" will pop up a
list of encoded bit streams. Any one can be manually selected and
played back. However, if a bit stream is selected that is higher
than the actual bandwidth available (example: 256Kbps on a 56Kbps
dialup connection) then the player will be frequently interrupted by
constantly buffering the data stream.
Clicking on the magnifier that appears in the lower right corner of
the player during playback will open a floating, resizable Java
window. Right clicking on the player window and selecting "Zoom in"
will do the same thing. If the Java window is launched first the
player will start automatically. |
